Your pocket speaking coach.

Scripties listens while you rehearse and tells you the truth — how fast you're going, how steady you sound, and where it fell apart. Like a speech coach, minus the judgemental eyebrows.

What it actually does.

Rehearse, get roasted by data, improve. Repeat until stage-ready.

Words per minute

Tracks your pace against the ideal range. Turns out I rehearse at 207 wpm when nervous. The green band keeps you honest.

Consistency score

Measures how steady your delivery is across the whole run. 80–85% is the sweet spot — enough rhythm to follow, enough variety to stay awake.

Playback & review

Listen back to your run with the numbers next to it. Painful at first, weirdly addictive after. That's how the improving happens.

Why this exists.

I've been obsessed with public speaking since FIRST LEGO League, where the presentation award mattered to me more than the robot did.

When I got into Swift Accelerator, I knew exactly what to build: the coach I always wanted. Something that doesn't just record you, but actually tells you what to fix — pacing, steadiness, the spots where you sped through the good part.

It became my capstone project. I tested every build on my own speeches first, which means the app has heard more bad takes of me than any human ever will.
